New Final Ideas.
The Animals VS Athletes project was not going as planned, and I wanted to do my own shooting. SO. I am changing my Final Project to Illustrative Disney Princesses and Villains. I will use the Photo Studio to shoot models as various Disney Characters. I am going for 5 images total. So far, characters are as follows:
Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Peter Pan and Tinkerbell (Peter Pan)
Maleficent (Sleeping Beauty)
Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
Rapunzel or Aurora (Tangled or Sleeping Beauty)
Prince Charming or Aladdin (Cinderella or Aladdin)
Pocahontas (Pocahontas)
Photo Tech Final Ideas
For the final project I was thinking of doing animals versus athletes (or animals partaking in human behaviors – chimpanzee example).
Over the next few weeks I will go to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo for shots of the more exotic animals.
For the athletes I would use my family and friends that are in different sports (i.e. hockey, volleyball, baseball, softball). Or I could go to some local athletic centers.
I may also use some stock photography of professional athletes.
I would probably do 5 photos total.
Assignment 4 – The Constructed Image (Finals)
Before and afters. I chose to do the Apocalypse because 2012 is all hyped up on the end of the Mayan Calendar.
Images for Apocalypse Photoshop Project
I probably won’t end up using the Taj Mahal, but it would be a cool place to Photoshop for Apocalypse.
Assignment 4 – The Constructed Image
In my Visual Storytelling class, I am doing a story on Animal Shelter Life and I will basically be there once a week for 8 hours. I think I could use something with it for this assignment. Society doesn’t understand the importance of spay neuter or how many animals need to be adopted. I’m not really sure HOW I am going to portray this in the assignment, but it’s something to think about. I do know that I want to do something with Surrealism.
